  • The Federalist vote is the average of William Gray and William Phillips; the Republican vote is the average of Levi Lincoln and Benjamin W. Crowninshield. These are the four major candidates for elector to run statewide.
  • The Federalists ended up with most of the state's fifteen electors, both before and after two were replaced. Nonetheless, all Massachusetts electors voted for Monroe.
